Our friend Cassidy has just started semi-pro shooting, so we will have her over for dinner soon and get some good shots of the house to post. But until then, these fun little photos will have to do!
Here is a few fun shots that I edited online. The new car is a 2007 BMW 328i. She officially earned the name of BETTIE MAE WATERFORD recently. She is black on black with all the goodies inside. Such a beaut.

Here is one of the entrance way to the house after we have redone most of it. There are still some painting mishaps that you might be able to see on the edges of a couple niches, but those will be fixed soon. The canvas in the middle niche was a MUST have for quite a few reasons. Besides the fact that it is a beautiful photograph (and not a painting as it appears), we saw this at a place we LOVE to go eat and enjoy the scenery here in Austin at Lake Travis. The restaurant is called The Oasis and sits on top of cliffs some 500 feet above Lake Travis. It is said to be "The best sunset in Texas" and after having seen a few there, I wouldn't argue. Anyhow- we were visiting The Oasis on a Sunday in which they have local artist come and display paintings, photographs and sculptures. A local photographer named Dennis McClintock was selling his work and we bought that photo. It is a single sailboat (which is rare if you see the number of boats on the lake in the summer) right at sunset and couldn't be any prettier. The recessed light at the top of the niche hits the natural light lines from the sun in the painting. So now not do we have a beautiful piece of art to display there, it is very special to us as well. (You can see a before picture of this foyer down in the December posts!)
Wow... Looks like I'll have to get a better picture on here of this! I promise this time it wont take as long. Kevin and I discussed doing a "Cribs" style video that would have us giving a "tour" of the house to post on here for you guys. As soon as my husband finishes the flooring in a certain guest room *wink, wink* we will get that done and uploaded!!
