Good Bill of Health (for the home at least)

Photobucket

The inspection went great! There are a few minor things that Paul could fix in about a day, but no significant damage at all!!

We met our neighbors and had to laugh. Our Realtor had come inside and told us that our neighbors were outside if we would like to go meet them. Well, we already thought we would like them from their Longhorns flag hanging off of the columns in the front, but when I marched out there in my burnt orange hat and shirt (as well as jacket), both the husband and wife were gardening in their Texas Longhorn EVERYTHING. We shook hands and commented "Well, at least we know we have something in common!" Even their new Avalance was burnt orange! They seemed sweet although we only spoke to them for a moment.

Speaking of Longhorns, Thanksgiving day was AMAZING this year. We went over to Kevin and Brenda's for lunch (showing up late of course) and had a wonderful, wonderful lunch with Kev, Brenda, and all of the children. They also had a friend in from Houston that spent the day with us since he was in town for the UT game that night. Paul and I were going to go down to where we tailgate and watch the game like we typically do: With out tickets. But, Kevin's friend Bob Frank was so incredibly sweet that he GAVE us two tickets to the game!! So, now our already great holiday is headed straight the the Lonestar Showdown!! We left the Killens' home and went downtown where we were able to stop by our typical tailgate place and enjoy a few moments with friends. Then we went on the game where we would not only begin a great friendship with Bob, but also beat the poor Aggies 49-9.

Aaaahhhhh....... Family, Friends, Food and Football. It doesn't get better than that.

LONGHORNS BABY!! Pictures, Images and Photos
